About 43 years ago I was a busy entrepreneur working very hard to support my family when I was afflicted by miserable case of the Shingles on my face around my left eye.It knocked me out of commission for over the month. It left me with permanent damage to my eye.

It was a wakeup call for me

Unless you love your job, working more hours is like trading your health for money. Then when your health deteriorates, you’ll want to trade your money for better health.
Prosperity isn’t just about how much money you make. It’s about many things, including how much money you save, your health, your relationships, enjoying how you spend your time, and so on.
Work-life balance isn’t as important when you love your job, but if you don’t love your job, it’s vital. Unfortunately, we’re not all going to have jobs we love. But generally, the better you are at managing your money, the less you’ll need to work. Keeping a strict budget and making sensible long-term investments is key.
